CW, Fax, RTTY and Slow Scan Television

Another very interesting ascept is the reception of Morse Stations (CW), Radio Facsimilie (FAX), Radio Teletype (RTTY), PSK 31 the new RTTY standard and Slow Scan Television (SSTV) via Shortwave. The internet users are linked by telephone lines. But there is also a great number of stations using radio waves to reach there counterparts, e. g. by Short Wave. The broadcast stations on short wave are a well known part of all the stations operating via the air.
But there is a much greater number of the so called utility stations transmitting there information all over the world via the air. Radio Amateurs also using CW, RTTY, FAX and in addition SSTV modes. If you want to listen to RTTY, FAX and SSTV stations you need a short wave receiver equipment a comparator interface or demodulator in conjunction with your receiver and computer.
I am using a very simple and low cost serial port comparator interface. The audio signal, processed by this simple interface, is decoded by software.
